Garek Bielaczyc of Salt Lake City East (Utah) set the meet record to win the boys 3,200 meters in U.S. No. 3 8:57.03 at the 38th Simplot Games at Idaho State University's Holt Arena. Bielaczyc broke the 2013 meet record of 9:00.62 by Ben Saarel.
